My daughter loves spaghetti night, which usually means spaghetti lunch at school the next day. I learned to make bolognese (red meat sauce) at a pretty young age and through experimenting I figured out my own little recipe. I often get asked what my secret ingredient is and I dont know about secret but what makes my sauce stand out are 3 things:
a) I cook the meat with my special marinade for extra flavor
b) I add red wine to the sauce
c) I also add a pinch of sugar
And voila, with those three things, you too can love spaghetti night.
